- set up your PROFILE
- wait 24 hours so that REVEAL can validate your email
address
- go back into the "I have a Profile" graphic and set up
your SEARCHES

- You can now get to UnCover's REVEAL
directly, to set up a profile for Table of Contents service, or to add to you
r selections (click on HOW TO EDIT YOUR PROFILE).
- Direct access to COMPENDEX is being tested!
July 1996:To fully access the digital libraries available through the Engineering Homepage you need to be able to use the following OPTIONS in Netscape:
- E-Mail
- Telnet
- Viewers: Acrobat (pdf); PostScript (ps,eps); Tex, LaTex, etc. (dvi)
- Compressed formats: Z, zip, tar

- The American Mathematical Society's reference database MATHSCINET is now available from the Math and the Engineering Library homepages. Please let me know what you think of it.

May 1996: Faculty and students can request article printouts from SOME journals from the Engineering Library Homepage. The printouts are free (so far) and can be picked up at the Langsam circulation desk.
- Click on The OhioLINK Homepage, then on Research Databases and Alphabetical List of All Databases
- Printouts are available from SOME of the journals in two databases: ABI/INFORM Global and Periodical Absracts
- In ABI/INFORM try Civil Engineering, for example.
- In Perodical Abstracts try Computerworld or Aviation Week and Space Technology.

- You now have FULL TEXT web access to Institute of Physics journals.

- You can request an item NOT available at UC by filling out the form available at REQUEST ITEMS from the Engineering Library homepage.
- You can DIAL INTO the Libray CD-ROM tower of databses by using Norton's PC ANYWHERE-REMOTE software. Let me know if you want the instructions.
