Low Use / High Cost Journals will be Cancelled

June 27, 1995 The engineering journal budget is not keeping place with inflation as costs rise due to increasing costs of paper, decreasing subscriptions, and low valuation of the dollar against European currencies. Many journal titles will be cancelled, titles which were previously identified as candidates for cutting by the faculty. These titles are candidates because of low use, high cost, and availability from external sources. Always place a document request at the circulation desk for titles we don't have.
